Thanks for reading! Starting this summer, I’m going to be providing a quarterly newsletter entitled “Earthen Vessels” adapted from 2 Corinthians 4:7. In 2 Corinthians the Apostle Paul says “7 But we have this treasure in earthen containers, so that the extraordinary greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves…” Specifically what the Apostle Paul is speaking of is the dichotomy between having the privilege of being saved by belief in Jesus Christ as opposed to trying to do and say and strive and make God love us. For those who have called on Jesus to be their Lord and Savior, the striving stops!
The newsletter surely will adapt and change as time goes on. Yet the intention is to share true stories of how your life has been changed whether for the better or worse. Second, it will be an opportunity to know more of how there is goodness and mercy that can only be understood by those who have been saved by the Only King of kings, Jesus Christ.
